A Texas-based company, HHDP Security, was convicted of workers’ compensation premium fraud and ordered to pay restitution by a Travis County District Court judge.

The Texas Department of Insurance Division of Workers’ Compensation’s (TDI-DWC) prosecution unit obtained the indictment. Members of this unit are embedded in the Travis County District Attorney’s Office and are paid by DWC to fight fraud across the state.
