In workers’ comp, we are all racing against the clock to meet the timetables set and avoid the fines. These start right at injury and continue with every physician bill, communication, payout, etc.
It looks like the VA isn’t under the same race for their handling of disability claims, at least until now. Finally after reports revealed over 500,000 unpaid claims aged over 125 days, the execs’ bonuses of over $2.8 Million are at risk.
Perhaps they should just have to manage 150 open WC claims at once! Got any better ideas?
