What does Your 90 Day Plan Look Like?
February 8, 2025

90We have all been on job interviews before and I am sure everyone has heard the question “What could you accomplish in the first 90 days?” Well let’s ask that again at your current position, “What could you accomplish in the next 90 days?” While there are many companies out there that are constantly evaluating their claims systems to make sure they are being as efficient as possible, you could be making enhancements and supercharging your claims system to be at the forefront of claims instead of always trying  to play catch up.

In the next 90 days you could; reduce your medical spend by 35%, give your adjusters 40% of their day back to actually adjust claims, and have a managed care program that could give your the best network penetration and savings.  Sounds great doesn’t it?  Who would not want these kinds of benefits in their claims system?  The best part is that this is an enhancement that brings all your disparate systems together to function as one, without all the time and money spent on an off the shelf system.

I know it all sounds to good to be true but it is just the opposite and something that clients of Acrometis have been experiencing for some time.  Why spent countless dollars and upfront capital on a system you will have to update by the time it is implemented.  Get everything you want with no upfront capital, customization’s, and 100% cloud based so you always have the latest rules, updates, and changes.

Being in the work comp industry for some time now I have seen a lot.  Countless years spent on new system integration, millions of dollars spent, going down the path of a new system only to find out the your IT team is too invested in other projects to make this happen anytime soon.  It is a shame that it takes so much involvement to get updated with the times and attempt to get ahead of claims.

Go with the industry claim experts, go with Acrometis.  We all get into workers comp so that we can help injured workers.  If your too busy being bogged down in claims and mundane tasks to actually help injured worker to the best of your ability there needs to be a change.  I want to see workers getting the best care, have an adjuster that can have the time to help them, close claims faster, and get these people back to work faster.

Be a forward thinker, be someone that is planning for the long road ahead because we all know that work comp claims are not going to get any easier.  If anything they get more and more complex.  Have the right tools for the job and make your claims environment as efficient as possible.

Hey look at it this way in the next 90 days you could be the hero of your organization.  That sounds like a pretty good next 90 days to me.  Whatever you do in the next 90 days make something happen.
